With a career spanning more than a decade in large scale transformation, Barry specialises in both Strategic Change Management—optimising how organisations operate today - and Business Transformation, enabling them to build for the future.
A certified Prosci ADKAR and APMG Change Professional, and PMPqualified programme leader, Barry blends commercial acumen with deep expertise across people, process, and technology change. His skillset spans organisational design, IT and systems transformation, AIdriven change, business process redesign, risk and governance, training design, and communication strategy. He is recognised for bringing structure, empathy, and clarity to every initiative, ensuring people don’t just understand the change - they embrace it.
From 2015 to 2025, Barry established and led Expleo’s Business Change Transformation service, growing it year on year and building a high performing team delivering complex, multivendor transformation programmes across regulated and technology driven environments. In 2025, he transitioned into a freelance advisory role, partnering with organisations to design and deliver transformation programmes that unlock ROI, accelerate adoption, and create sustainable performance improvement. Barry is known for “building relationships, building trust, and building bridges.”
His approach is hands on, collaborative, and outcomes focused — bringing together strategy, delivery discipline, and human-centred change to help organisations thrive in a world of continuous reinvention. A qualified trainer, coach, and mentor, he is also an active member of Engineers Ireland and the Change Management Institute Ireland.
